What is Buzzabout?

Buzzabout is a bookable transport service operating in the northern parishes of Lowestoft. Anyone can use it.

We can pick you up at your door, or anywhere that works for you – and bring you back, of course.

The service operates on Tuesday and Thursday between 08.30 and 16.30 and you can book a trip as little as an hour before you travel (subject to availability).

The Buzzabout bus can accommodate 14 passengers and has room for 1 wheelchair.

We can take you shopping to the North Quay Retail Park, for thrills and spills to Pleasurewood Hills, to enjoy the sports facilities at Waterlane Leisure Centre, help you get to medical appointments or take you to Lowestoft town centre to meet friends for a coffee/lunch.

  • fill out a booking request form;
  • email your request to info@bactcommunitytransport.org.uk; or

How it works

Buzzabout collects you from your chosen location at your chosen time.

And brings you back when you choose. Simple.

Book a journey

Bookings will only be processed during office hours (Monday – Friday  9.00am – 4.00pm). If you cancel your booking within 24 hours of the time of travel, you will be charged the full fare.
